Repton and Clover was established in 2015 and offers wide range of rare, collectible and antiquarian books. Taking pride in an existing reputation for high levels of service and professionalism, the specification for the website needed to represent this.
For unforeseen reasons, and before the intervention from AMT Web Services, the existing domain name and website had been lost. The first step was to reclaim the domain name; completed within the week.
As there was no existing website, and the domain name reclaimed, there was no need for a staging environment. A holding page was created containing business contact details, and the development commenced behind the scenes with the domain name hidden from search engines until launch.
Working closely with the business owner, Andrew, and ideas flowing back and forth, it became relatively straightforward to develop the new website. Existing branding was incorporated, quality content was provided by Andrew, and an open canvas was before me.
The new website includes testimonials, a contact form, News section and links to existing e-commerce formats.
